That's it! Another Splendid Encounters conference is over. And what a splendid encounter it was at Clam-Gallas Palace, such beautiful surroundings in a very beautiful city and to crown it all, the weather was perfect. Our thanks go to Jiří Kubes and his team for organising a smoothly run conference in such a wonderful location and for the interesting tours arranged.
It was great to catch up with old friends and to meet new members of the Network, who we hope will also become friends, too.
Our conferences prove, time and time again, to be wonderful networking events and this one was no exception! I, myself, came away with two new projects, and I'm sure I was not alone.
Once more, Anna and I would like to thank everyone who presented and listened to the papers. It never ceases to amaze—the diversity of the subjects and the interesting areas our Network covers. Keep up the good work.
